United States (Remote)EngagementIn-House

In-House Litigation Paralegal

Job Description

Latitude Legal is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join the in-house legal team of a global consumer cybersecurity company on a fully remote engagement basis. The role is expected to start on a part-time basis (approximately 25 hours per week), with availability up to full-time hours preferred, and has potential to convert to a permanent position if there is a mutual fit. Candidates should be available during Eastern Time business hours.

The company is a publicly traded technology company whose brands operate in the security/identity management space. The company has a significant European presence and operates in one of the most heavily regulated corners of tech: consumer data, privacy, AI and consumer finance. The Litigation Paralegal will support an active litigation docket with a focus on employment and international matters, taking ownership of smaller matters and working directly with teams across the company to gather the information and documents the legal team needs. This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving, technology-forward environment, well suited to a proactive paralegal who is comfortable with AI tools and enjoys finding ways to make legal processes run better.

What You'll Do Includes:

  • Support an active litigation docket, with a focus on employment and international matters
  • Take ownership of smaller matters and workstreams from intake through resolution, under attorney supervision
  • Track deadlines, maintain the litigation docket and matter records, and prepare status updates for the legal team
  • Gather information and documents from business teams and internal stakeholders across the company
  • Issue and manage legal holds, coordinate document collection, and support e-discovery and document productions
  • Assist with responses to subpoenas, discovery requests, and agency charges
  • Coordinate with outside counsel, including tracking budgets and invoices
  • Draft correspondence, prepare case materials, and conduct legal and factual research
  • Identify opportunities to streamline litigation workflows, including through AI and automation tools

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience in an in-house legal department; employment litigation experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting international or cross-border matters is a plus
  • Working knowledge of the litigation lifecycle, legal holds, and e-discovery, with familiarity using matter management, e-billing, and e-discovery platforms
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently
  • A proactive, curious self-starter who takes ownership, asks good questions, and is always looking for a better way to get the work done
  • Comfortable using AI tools in your day-to-day work and excited to help the team put them to practical use; candidates earlier in their careers who bring strong AI fluency and a builder's mindset are encouraged to apply
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and comfortable working with colleagues across functions and time zones
  • Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Paralegal certificate preferred.
  • Outstanding references
